Students at Jordan Valley will continue to engage in virtual learning throughout the week.
Parents were notified late Tuesday, Dec. 1 that in-person learning would be postponed while clean-up crews mopped up water from a broken water pipe.
Teachers pivoted to online learning for Wednesday, Dec. 2 classes — and they will again be holding online classes on Thursday, Dec. 3.
The two-day virtual learning schedule will give more time for the school to complete repairs and clean-up and ensure that students are coming into a school that is clean, sanitary, and conducive to learning.
It’s expected that in-person learning will continue on Monday, Dec. 7.
Canyons District and Jordan Valley thank families in advance for their patience and cooperation as the faculty and staff deal with the issue at the school.
If you have questions, please contact the school during the day at 801-826-7200.
