Teacher and Student Success Plan – Final Report
2022 – 2023
Academic Goal
Expose ALL students (regardless of age, diagnosis and physical ability) to activities that will help them experience their body in different positions in space. These activities will be performed on a daily basis by the students and will be coordinated by the related services team (OT/PE/PT). The activities will be aimed to improve, not only the students’ gross and fine motor abilities, but also to develop the organizational skills needed to succeed academically. Anticipated achievement of these goals is projected between 1-3 school years (2022-2025).
Did you meet/accomplish this goal? Yes
Please show the before and after measurements and how academic performance was improved (Show Measurements even if the goal was not accomplished)
We anticipate still needing to work on this goal for all students, but growth has been noted during their gross motor & fine motor activities & therapy sessions, as well as achievement in the class. Our Literacy Project shows students progressing a full column from emerging to approaching target or skill not observed to emerging.

Many of our students are accessing the equipment as it is highly motivating and different from their regular activities. We have seen an increase in compliance and interest, as well as, achievement in the classroom according to our Literacy Project and IEP goals.
